Does paint correction remove scratches?
It removes most light to moderate scratches but not deep scratches that go through the clear coat. Those require touch up paint, and may need minor body filler.
Do new cars need paint correction?
Most likely. Many new vehicles have swirl marks and imperfections from the dealership.
If you’re wanting to protect the paint with a ceramic coating, we recommend a light polishing, because the coating will amplify the condition of the clear coat.
How long does paint correction last?
Results can last for years when the vehicle’s paint is properly protected.
Should I do paint correction before ceramic coating?
Yes. Correction ensures the coating bonds to clean, defect-free paint. Additionally, a ceramic coating amplifies the condition of the clear coat, so you want to make sure it’s as perfect as possible.
